Sta-n-Step Blueberry Farm

Sta-n-Step Blueberry Farm A blueberry, raspberry and blackberry farm with a season from June 1 to July 4th on most years. Raspberries are sold by the pint.

1.

We are primarily a pick-your-own berry farm, open during June and July, with blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. We provide buckets and bags and charge by the gallon or by the pound for blueberries and blackberries. Leave pets at home: We love dogs but cannot allow them in our fields for safety reasons. Please leave them at home for this farm visit.

2. Provided - buckets, bags, pints: W

e provide buckets, bags and pints for what you plan to purchase. We don't have enough on hand for every child to carry one. If you'd like extra you might bring some from home.

3. Field status varies depending on weather: We would love to forecast our berry picking availability more than 12 hours out. Unfortunately, it just isn't possible. Please check the page daily for the following day's field status.

4. Closing, if needed: The fields will close in the case of inclement weather or when we get picked out.

Meet Les Dozier of Sta-n-Step Blueberry Farm ✨

Les and his wife, Kathy, have been growing berries since 1989. Named in honor of his daughters (Stacy and Stephanie), what initially started as a blueberry farm has slowly transitioned to include about 1 acre of blackberries, giving his loyal customer base more berry options each summer.

Be sure to follow farm updates to see when the blackberries will be ready! 🟣Rumor has it there are ripe blueberries ready to harvest 👀

Closed Fields Until Further Notice!

Though we had intended to be open on Saturday, May 23, we need to CLOSE for other varieties to ripen. The branches, weakened by last year’s hail, are breaking and the rainy weather slows down ripening.

Limited picking on 5/21 and 5/23

We have limited blueberries to pick on this first variety of “Duke,” due to hail damage from last year.
If you want to wait til the next variety ripens, there should be more to pick - possibly in 1 week. The other varieties seem to have stronger branches.
