My sweet babies are laying a beautiful assortment of colors. It's been a joyful experience experimenting with egg color. It never gets old seeing the first egg of last season's work! 🤩. I just wished blue eggs were more photogenic.

State of North Carolina is on a STAY AT HOME ORDER beginning Monday, Mar30. I will not have hatching eggs available until further notice. This is my son's Opal legbars. The leghorn in the making of them is what he finds attractive. They lay blueish eggs and are autosexing. What a fun breed for him! The c**k is calmer at this stage than the females. The ladies are not flighty just not lap chickens like my swedish.

We've just had the birds retested in preparation for spring hatching season! We are still Npip and AI clean in addition to periodically testing for Mg and Ms. We are ready 🐣!

Good morning all! The weather has finally cooled and our feathered friends get to take a break. I've had some request to be put on a spring hatching list as my incubator is off 🥳.
