Fire up the grill this weekend with our foolproof Honey-Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork. Minimal hands-on time = maximum flavor & more time with the people who matter.
๐ฅ HONEY-BOURBON BBQ PULLED PORK
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 6-8 hours | Feeds: 10-12
INGREDIENTS
๐ฅฉ 4-5 lb pork shoulder (Boston butt) from No-BS Meats
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt & 1 tsp black pepper
1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
ยฝ cup bourbon (optional, but trust us)
ยฝ cup honey
Brioche buns & creamy coleslaw for serving
THE MAGIC
Season that pork shoulder generously with the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Throw it in your slow cooker. Whisk together BBQ sauce, bourbon & honey, pour it over the meat. Cover & cook on LOW for 8 hours (or HIGH for 6 hours) until it falls apart with a fork. Shred it up, skim the fat, toss it back in those juices. Pile it high on toasted brioche with coleslaw on top.
