We sure do appreciate and love all of the heat-loving people who attended our second annual Mushroom Festival here at Bear Butte Gardens! Wow-o-wow was it a warm day! But you all are hardy people and you showed up all day long and then such a great group for the sold out mushroom dinner at the end of the day! Thank you first to Alan Carner (and Nikki) for doing the heavy work with growing and foraging mushrooms and sharing his love with all of his customers and then encouraging them to head out to our farm for this event. Thank you to Chef Travis Bartels for creating an amazing menu and all locally-sourced meal, along with his servers Jessie and Michelle! Thank you to all of the educators and music providers (Jodi, Cara, Linda, John and friends, Ian). And finally, thank you to our staff and family who get to do all of the behind the scenes stuff (Michelle & Rick, Teresa, Rob, Mike, Martin, Blake, Veronica. It was great seeing so many of our regular customers and friends and meeting so many new people! Carry on, Mushroom Lovers!
