Meet Kaylee Jennings of Felicity, Ohio, proudly serving as your Northeast Region Director this year!

At 19 years old, Kaylee is passionate about giving back to the association that has helped shape her both inside and outside of the show ring. Serving on the junior board has reminded her just how special junior nationals are by allowing her to help younger members gain confidence, make memories, and fall in love with the cattle industry. Throughout her term, Kaylee hopes to continue building stronger connections among AJCA members through mentorship, leadership, and encouragement while helping every junior feel welcomed and supported.

As juniors prepare for another show season, Kaylee encourages members to focus on the effort rather than just the outcome, reminding them that every experience is an opportunity to grow, learn, and create lifelong friendships along the way. And if you catch her around the barns, don’t forget her favorite joke: “Why did the cow win an award? Because she was outstanding in her field!”

Our first trip to Denver was grander than we could've ever imagined, and we could not have asked for a better way to end "Gabby's" show career. Thank you to everyone for the kind messages, and to the entire Hunker and Ruffing families for being apart of this journey from start to finish both in-person and thousands of miles away. When you believe in a program and the people behind it, dreams do become reality!

When we left southern Ohio, we never would've guess that we'd travel back (through a nationwide snow storm) with a national champion female. The cherry on top was getting to be apart of the 1st ever Supreme Heifer Drive at the National Western Stock Show! From getting to show in the historic Stadium Arena to parading through the rodeo in front of over 8,500 spectators, every moment will be ingrained in our minds forever. Shoutout to the NWSS for putting our industry on prime display and highlighting the hard work of so many families!
