Rural Roots Welcome to Rural Roots on 34! We are a busy family of 5 that lives just outside of Felton MN where our Roots began.

We produce homegrown vegetables, canned goods, and fresh chicken eggs.

Potatoes!! I started planting potatoes yesterday and should wrap up today, that is if I don’t get blown away. We will have Pontiac Reds, Norland reds, and Alaskan Gold this year. I have plenty of Alaskan Gold seed potatoes left. Stop by if you want some or pop me a message.

Enjoy the sunshine!! In a few weeks we should have seeds in the garden and maybe even some sprouts popping out. My plants are growing well and getting ready for big productions this season.
I couldn’t resist the baby chicks so I picked up 30 more a couple weeks ago making a total of about 60 egg layers for the season.
I am also very happy to announce that I have become a member of MN Grown. It's a program that promotes products grown, raised, or made in Minnesota! Check out my directory listing at minnesotagrown.com.
Currently I am signed up for Lakes Area Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 10-1pm in Detroit Lakes and The Market @ West Acres on Thursdays from 9-3pm. I am still planning to be in Ada, Moorhead, and Dilworth a few times this season but have not finalized the days yet.
If you are craving some pickles, salsa, bloody marys, strawberry rhubarb or sweet pepper jam, let me know, so we can arrange a drop off or pickup.

This Saturday, November 8th, come find us in Dilworth at DGF Elementary from 9am-2pm. We have lots of canned goods, eggs, potatoes, onions, and squash available. Also if you need any Mary Kay I will have that available as well. Hope to see you Saturday. If you return your Ball or Kerr jars I will give $1 off per jar. I will have SAMPLES!!

We are still picking from the garden. I expect it to last for at least another week with the good temps ahead. Below is everything we have available.

Tomatoes $1.25/lb
Green/Red/Orange/Yellow bell peppers $1 each
Jalapeños/banana/Anaheim/Marconi 4 for $1
alaskan gold potatoes 12lbs for $15
white/red/yellow Onions $1/lb
Cabbage $.75/lb
Buttercup, butternut, delicata squash $2 each
Pumpkins - orange/white/green lg $5 sm $4
Celery - $3/bundle
Eggs 18 count for $5
Lots of canned goods available as well.

Pickup in Felton MN any day from 8am-3pm and some evenings or will meet in Glyndon/Dilworth/Moohread or Fargo Oct 7th, Oct 10th, Oct 12, Oct 14.

Let us help you decorate for fall!
We've restocked our pumpkin selection. Visit our self-serve yard just west of Felton on Hwy 34.
Prices are as follows:
small pumpkins, $4;
large pumpkins, $5;
squash, $3.
Our selection of tomatoes, peppers, onions, celery, watermelon, potatoes, cabbage, and eggs remains plentiful. These items are available for purchase Monday through Friday, 8am-2pm and Sundays all day. Note that they are no longer displayed at the front due to bug attractions.

Pickup in Felton anytime as we have all the 4lb squash out front or send a message for larger squash and bulk orders.

I make delivery’s to Glyndon and Dilworth a few times a week.
