This is what happens when the kids skip egg duty for a few days... and we decide to give the hens a chance at motherhood!

We tucked all the eggs into three nest boxes, and sure enough—three broody hens later, we’ve got chicks starting to hatch! We found the first little fluffball this evening, and the hens are being very mama hen about the whole thing. We think we’ve got three so far, but they’re not exactly letting us peek.

Who needs a playground when you've got a goat-sized swing and a whole yard to explore? Our little goat kids sure know how to have fun—bouncing, spinning, and turning every day into an adventure. That’s a wrap on kidding season!
Yesterday morning, we thought we were closing things out with one final single—but when we came back to check on mama, she’d pulled a fast one and delivered twins! A sweet red doeling with a white patch and a solid blonde buckling, both healthy and already making themselves at home.Mama is doing great, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish out the season. Total kid count of 14!

Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing updates on who’s staying, who’ll be looking for new pastures, and what we’ll have available for purchase soon. It’s been a beautiful season, and we’re excited to watch them and their personalities grow!

This little lady made her debut Friday morning, and she’s already got us wrapped around her tiny hooves. Mostly white with the cutest black boots, a splash of black on her face, and a thin stripe running down her back. Born as a single to a second-time mama, she’s thriving and full of charm!

The boys finally showed up!

After a streak of mostly girls, we had a double surprise this morning—two of our mama goats kidded just 5 minutes apart, and BOTH had bouncing baby boys!

That brings our baby goat count to 11—with two mamas still waiting their turn. It’s been such a sweet and lively season so far, and we’re loving every minute of it.

Three more babies hit the ground yesterday! Twins and a single. All girls!💜 bringing our total count so far to nine babies, one boy and eight girls.
