The stupid excitement I'm experiencing going from 0-1 egg per day to 3-5 eggs per day all of a sudden.
Guess I finally figured out that they want their fancy layer feed slightly wet and mushy ...or else. 🙃
We've had to endure a lack of eggs this summer due to (in order?) raccoon attacks, 7+ft hunger rat snakes, excessive heat (reduced laying), and cannibalism... Now they seem safe, satisfied and flourishing on mush 😅 In any case... More for Smoky Hollows Bakery to work with.
