EarthDance is CLOSED from 10/10-10/12!

We will not be attending the Saturday, October 10th Ferguson Farmers Market and will not be opening the Farm Stand on Sunday, October 11th as our team gets some well-deserved rest after Farmers Formal 2026. We will also be out of office on Monday, October 12th in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day.

We'll be back next weekend with more fresh, delicious, Pay What You Can produce ~ see you at Farmers Formal 2026!

P.S. Our Farm Stand is only open on Sundays for the rest of the season, the last one of 2026 is November 22nd 💚

Fall is beginning to show its colors here at the farm!🍁 We are relishing in the afterglow of the harvest moon and loving the cool temps.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate these stunning Purple Heart radishes + greens! 🤩 They are so sweet and delicious with just a little bite. Eat the radishes raw on a salad, with hummus, roasted, or pickled. Treat the greens just like you would turnip or mustard greens!

New this week: green beans🫛 — eat ‘em fresh, roasted, or pickled. Rainbow carrots — courtesy of Apprentice Gabby!🌈🥕 Persimmons — delicious orange-vanilla-caramel flavored native fruits. The cutest multicolor mini pumpkins 🎃 and the first of our fall greens — rainbow chard and kale.

Reminders: no more Friday Farm Stand, just Sundays through the end of November! And stock up on produce this weekend, the Farm Stand will be closed and we will not be at the Ferguson Market next weekend with Farmer’s Formal happening Friday.

Our annual fundraiser is a great opportunity to put on your best farm chic, taste some of St. Louis's freshest farm produce, chef creations, and local libations, all while supporting EarthDance's mission to advance food justice through our farm school programs and Pay What You Can produce.

Celebrate autumn by learning about seasonally available natural dye materials with fiber artist and educator, Erin Luna of Black Rat Farms. 🍂🌙

We will forage at EarthDance for ephemeral dye materials, such as acorn and black walnut, and transform them into one of a kind, hand dyed textiles.

All materials will be provided, please come dressed to be outside. All skill levels welcome.

The entrance of fall and cooler weather has got us feeling right! 🥳 Thank you clouds, thank you rain — we’ve missed you.

Today is the last Friday Farm Stand of the season! Still open on Sundays from 11am-3pm though 💚

Fall means our greens are just about here! Seeding out cool-loving greens (like collards, turnips, lettuce++) during these last few hot weeks has meant a whole lot of attention and care from our farmers to ensure they don’t dry up (and a whole lot of failures, and re-do’s). We are grateful the weather is on our side now and we’re gearing up for a bountiful greens season. ⛅️

The first of the fall greens are here — we’ll have a few bunches of Purple Heart radishes at both locations this weekend. And jujubes, medium-sweet and apple-y Chinese dates. Plus our first round of figs! 🤩 Our volunteers have been enjoying them this week as a post-shift snack.

We’re hiring a Garden & Volunteer Coordinator!

EarthDance Organic Farm School is seeking a creative, organized, and community-minded person to coordinate volunteer experiences, care for our educational gardens, lead hands-on activities, and build relationships with community and organizational partners.

This position begins in November 2026 at approximately 24 hours per week and transitions to 32–36 hours per week in January 2027. The role is based at our farm in Ferguson, Missouri.
