The farm was abuzz with pollinators and pollinator partiers at last week's Pollinator Party! 🐞🌸🦋🍎🪰🥭🐝🕊️🌻🦇

We are so grateful you came out to cross pollinate with us and so many other amazing pollinator lovers and supporters. We learned so much!

Thank you to all who joined us in celebration of all kinds of pollinators: flies, wasps, butterflies, bees, bats, and lemurs! With so much love and appreciation for pollinator diversity, our team was filled with hope, joy, and positive pollinator vibes.

Our sincere gratitude to our speakers, Dr. Kyra Krakos and Dr. Nicole Miller-Struttmann. To view their research summary, click here: https://tr.ee/-vol6SkHu2

Wednesday was World Bee Day, but we think every day is worthy of celebrating bees!

Bees—and MANY more vital pollinators—make it possible for EarthDance to grow food on our farm, and to put food on our plates every day. 🐝 🐦‍⬛ 🦋🦇🌱🌷

Somewhere between 75% and 95% of all flowering plants on Earth need help with pollination. Animals like bees, butterflies, beetles, flies, wasps, spiders, birds, and even bats help tackle this incredibly important job. They keep life moving! But they are also easily overlooked in our food system, and their homes are at risk as our food system becomes less biodiverse and pesticide use continues to rise without regulation.

BUT! We can make a difference in this system!

Join us for a Pollinator Party at EarthDance Organic Farm School on May 30, 2026, from 11am to 1pm to celebrate these beautiful creatures and learn about how to protect them!

There’ll be farm fresh snacks, kombucha, an educational presentation and pollinator-friendly activities for bugs, bats, bees (and more!) of all ages, along with seed, plant, & tree giveaways. Come dressed as your favorite pollinator - you may win a prize!

Registration is free, but required, here: weblink.donorperfect.com/pollinator-party
