For those wanting to visit with the Alpacas, because of the weather best to come on Saturday or early Sunday. Because the Alpacas are full fleece they will get hot in direct sun so once temps go above 75 we will water them down and put them in the barn with fans to keep the cool. The studio will be open with alpaca products and ceramics.

The Washougal Studio Artists Tour is your chance to visit local studios, see artists at work, and discover original creations in glass, textiles, bronze, painting, jewelry, and more—each piece available directly from the artist. This highly-anticipated event is a must-see.

The babies demonstrating that the grass is greener, put them in the boy field the other day to help eat down the grass since most of the boys have moved. It was like something completely new to them.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be part of the Washougal Studio Artist Tour! I’m so honored to be included with this wonderful group of artists.

I’m currently working on a couple of new pieces, and I’ll be posting photos soon.

Also— the babies are growing fast, so it’s a great time to visit the farm and see them before they get their new haircuts at the end of the month!

Hey friends—popping back up after a couple months of hibernation. 🐻‍❄️

Last year was a lot, and it pushed me to rethink my path as both a farmer and an artist. Then, by total chance, a job opportunity showed up that felt like the perfect fit. I applied… and I got it! It’s giving me the space to realign my long-term goals.

Because of that shift, I’ll be continuing to downsize the farm, and this year I’m planning to sell all of my alpacas. I’ll also be doing fewer shows as I move toward a stronger online presence (my amazing younger brother is designing me a website!) and put less focus on mass production (I am not sure 'mass" is the right word, but you get the idea :)) and more focus on one-of-a-kind pieces.

By the end of the year, I’ll be phasing out the felted and braided rugs and trivets, and spending more time creating woven rugs instead. If you see something you love, don’t wait—grab it while it’s available. Thank you so much for supporting this next chapter. ❤️
