One Blessed Acre Farm

One Blessed Acre Farm Welcome to One Blessed Acre! Handcrafted goat milk soaps & lotions to nourish your skin! I love all things country.

Blessings Come From All Things

One Blessed Acre began when my family returned to my home town in Northern California after my husband retired from the Air Force so that we could be closer to my parents. One day my father sent home some burlap that he had obtained at a local flea market with my husband. He gave him specific instructions for me to create something with it. My rather large farm tab

le needed something rustic to dress it up, so out of some slightly dusty burlap came the first ruffled burlap table runner. Now, taking my creation one step further, I enjoy searching for new ways to turn "slightly dusty" burlap into beautiful country décor. Three years ago, we added two Nubian goats to our farm with the intent of drinking the milk, wanting to be more self-sufficient with our homesteading lifestyle. Out of that milking came lots of excess milk for soaps and lotions. Once I began looking at the labels on beauty products I quickly realized the need to have more natural products for my family to use. I love being able to create different scented soaps and lotions and have found recently that I have an addiction to fragrance oils.

One of the many amazing local stores to stock up on One Blessed Acre Farm soaps and lotions. Julie does an amazing job at providing so many unique giftable items! It’s a treat to wander this store!

Some places sell things.
Some places hold stories.

For generations, the Golden Gait Mercantile has been the heartbeat of Main Street… creaky floors, warm lights, old-fashioned charm, and conversations that somehow turn strangers into neighbors.

We’re proud to keep history alive the old-fashioned way — by opening our doors every single day and sharing it with everyone who walks in. From vintage treasures to simple moments that feel like stepping back in time, this old building still has a lot to say.

And to be honest? The walls have probably heard more town gossip than anyone alive.

Thank you for making this little historic corner of Ferndale part of your story too.

Open daily 10–5.

Come wander awhile.

This weekend, we're honoring all who served and gave all.
