The Griggs Gallery Painting Classes We are an artist family and will be offering an array of classes at The Griggs Gallery, 399 & 405 Main Street, Ferndale California. Price varies by class.

We offer kids, teen, and adult classes, pottery, painting, drawing & more! Our painting classes are either 1 night ($50) or 2 night ($100) classes using acrylic paints on canvas. We serve appetizers, your choice of a glass of wine, beer, or hot tea. Class starts at 6pm & we try to wrap it up by 9pm. Pre payment is required as these classes have a size limit & fill quickly.

Hey everyone this is Shawn, welcome back to our page! Check this out, our son Griffin graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt in December of 2025 with a degree in Studio Art. He will be offering his first art class next Thursday February 19th at the gallery. I’m looking forward to being his assistant for a change🤣!

Thursday Night Art Class with Griffin Griggs! It’s year of the horse so Griffin will be kicking off the new year teaching you how to draw one! Don’t be intimidated by this as he will have a step by step process that will be easy to follow & fun! Everything you need to create your masterpiece (pencils, watercolor pencils, ink pens) will be provided. We will be serving a complimentary Blueberry Lemon Moscow Mule, or Organic Strawberry Lemonade, homemade assorted flat breads, crudités, & homemade cookies!

Price per person $75
Class from 5:30-8:30, this class is an adult only class.
