I just finished making an **ENORMOUS batch of Tita’s Salsa Fresca** for **Fresh Salsa Saturday at Ferndale Family Farms!**

The demand for our fresh salsa has been HUGE lately, so I made a mountain of it this morning. 😂 I’m hoping I made enough to carry us all the way through **Sunday afternoon!**

27 # of Fresh Picked Organic San Marzano tomatoes! Already in the roaster this morning. This is an 18 quart roaster. Organic Onions and garlic too. This should make about 24 pints of Marinara. I'll be canning later this afternoon. San Marzano lugs should be available by the 2nd or 3rd week of September.

The Farmstand porch is loaded with **fresh organic tomatoes, peppers & veggies** — plus shelves full of our **farm-to-jar canned goods**!

We have been BUSY in the canning kitchen, and it looks like it isn’t going to slow down anytime soon! 🍅🌶️🥫

Right now I’m roasting our organic San Marzano tomatoes with fresh garlic and onions, getting ready for the first batch of the season of our popular Ferndale Family Farms Marinara! 🍅🧄🧅

And we have some delicious NEW pepper jellies hitting the shelves this weekend:
