Appel Family Dairy Join us in the day to day operations of our Family Dairy Farm. I was not raised on a farm but I have now spent more time living on a farm than not.

The further removed people get from farming, the less people know and realize what farm life is like or where their food comes from. I love it and consider myself blessed to be married to a farmer. Living on and owning a farm is a job that my husband loves, not only that, it is a way of life for him and for our whole family. Our Story

Fulfilling a dream...

From Holland to a rural community in NW WA, Jack Appel followed his dream of becoming a dairy farmer. Now, his sons, grandsons, granddaughters and even a great-granddaughter continue that dream here at Appel Family Dairy and Appel Farms Cheese.

John & Rich bought the farm from their parents back in the mid 80’s and the cheese business a few years later.

We now milk about 650 Jerseys and Holsteins. John heads up the cheese half of the business and Rich takes care of the dairy side of things.
