in Ferndale (June-December) and their Pepperwood farmstand on the Avenue of the Giants (July-October) 🍅✨ We are Ben & Aubrey Thompson. We met on a beautiful vegetable farm in Ferndale in July 2015. We soon realized our shared love of tending to the land and the importance of eating healthy, local and organic food. Our love for the land, each other, and the community gave rise to a dream, and that

dream became a goal, and that goal became a mission. Our mission is to create a sustainable and community-based farm business that brings high-quality, organic, nutrient-dense produce to the Eel River Valley and surrounding areas. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve such wonderful families and individuals in our community, and hope to see you all at our local sales locations! Where we sell:

It was a busy day at the Ferndale farm today! We had all hands on deck for pulling plastic onto the new high tunnel. Always a good time 😊 (as long as there is no wind a-blowin’)

Lowell did not want to miss out on the fun (he has a big case of FOMO when it comes to exciting farm activities involving the crew), so I made sure we were there bright and early. Packed breakfast for us and there by 7:30. ☀️

We also harvested for our first wholesale order of the season! 🥗 🥬 Fresh greens are heading to in the morning!

This afternoon, Ben disced up more of the field where we’ll plant brassicas, greens, roots, herbs, and late successions of zucchini. With so much going on last year with the new baby, we neglected to fill up the Ferndale field like we have in the past, but we’re determined to get back to pre-baby production levels there this year.

It was nice spending some mellow time at the farm with the boys this morning. We love raising them out there. It’s a good place for a kid to grow up. 💛 And an excellent place for a kid to pretend to be a pirate, in Lowell’s case.

The veggies are washed, packed, and ready to bring to downtown Ferndale for the opening day of our Main Street farmstand! 🥗 (Saturday, May 30th)

Catch us on the corner of Main & Shaw from 10-2 with our super fresh, Certified Organic spring produce + sourdough bread, cinnamon raisin bread, focaccia, eggs, and honey - all from some our favorite Humboldt County bakers, farmers, and beekeepers! 🍞🥚🍯

Sometimes we can’t believe we get to do this again and again each year. The work can be demanding and require our whole attention most days, but the joy of being outdoors, spending time with our family, connecting deeply with our community, and growing the healthiest food available lights a fire in our souls and brings us to each new season with greater passion than the last. 🔥

Exciting news! ✨ Opening day of our Main Street Ferndale farmstand is THIS SATURDAY, May 30th! 🎉 Open 10AM-2PM at the corner of Main Street & Shaw Avenue!

We will be OPEN WEEKLY (every Saturday) from here on out through December! Come shop and eat seasonally with us! 🥗

It’s been a long break, but the wait is over! Join us downtown this weekend to celebrate the growing season (our 9th, in fact!) and browse our selection of locally grown, Certified Organic spring produce. 🥬🥕🧅

We’ll also stock locally produced goods including:
• sourdough bread from The Humboldt Baking Company
• cinnamon raisin bread & focaccia from Josh Hebert of Ferndale
• eggs from Foggy Bottoms Boys
• honey from Queen’s Harvest of Fortuna

We accept cash, card, Apple Pay, and EBT.

Sunny and 75* in Pepperwood! ☀️ A good day for planting another round of sweet corn and green beans! We’ve been busy planting, weeding, watering, and trellising. The field is filling up with crops that will fill our farmstands and feed folks throughout Humboldt County! Things are about to kick into high gear!

We’re hosting the last Fair Curve Farm plant sale of the year this weekend! 🪴✨ Open Saturday & Sunday, May 16th & 17th from 9AM-3PM, both days. We’ll be set up on the corner of Main & Shaw in downtown Ferndale. (600 Main Street)

We’ve spent this spring carefully tending to all the baby plants, and we’re looking forward to sending them off to a good home 🌱☺️

Come shop for Certified Organic veggie, herb, and flower starts for your home gardens. 🪏 All grown from seed on our family farm in Ferndale!
