Good news beef lovers, I will have plenty of beef around the 4th of February! I'll have both grass finished, and grain finished beef this go-round. Not sure how well the grain finish will turn out, but I'll post pictures of both when it's available.

My apologies folks as the calf is not for sale. My intent here is to sell 100% grass fed state inspected processed beef to folks in the DFW area. When I ran the "ad", it ended up going nationwide. Sorry Hawaii, I can't ship.

Howdy folks. Just dropped a cow to be processed today. This time, I ordered additional steak cuts like top sirloin, Delmonico and skirt steaks to name a few, in addition to bone in ribeyes, t-bones and NY strips for the old standards.

There will be ground beef vacuum sealed in 1 lb packages as well as chili meat just in time for fall!

I'll post a complete inventory when I bring the fresh cuts home.

Pasture raised right here on my small ranch in Ferris, 100% Grass Fed/Finished Angus Beef. State inspected and vacuum sealed.

Currently, I have plenty of ground beef @ $6lb or 20lbs for $100. I also have plenty of chuck roasts @ $6lb. Making an appointment on Monday for the next cow so stay tuned if you are a steak lover.

It's getting close to the time to take a cow in for processing, so that means "GROUND BEEF MONDAY" (time to empty the freezer at Rivertop Ranch)! 20lbs of lean, pasture raised ground beef for only $100! I don't think you'll find 93% lean ground beef anywhere for this price.

Though all of this ground beef is 100% grass fed, it doesn't have that "grassy" taste that grass finished beef sometimes has.

Know your cuts.

Many of the cuts beef on this chart were unfamiliar to me most of my life as I tended to look for the cuts of beef I grew up eating.

Let me know if you have any special requests and when I have a cow processed, I can ask the processor for most any cut you prefer as well as tongue, liver and tripe. They also make the most amazing beef bologna I've ever had.
