Faerie Court Farm

FCF Titans SilverAura (Aur Elijah x FCF Titanias Vanity) 2022 gelding has been under saddle for about month.
Today Sara Giard took him to the open dressage schooling show at the Vermont Morgan Heritage Days show. Titan did Intro A and Intro B tests on a chilly rainy morning in a very distracting environment. He was such a GOOD boy and had a positive learning experience- with encouraging scores and comments for his first outing.
I also got to see him do some lovely canter in both directions while warming up for his second test.

4 year old gelding FCF Titans SilverAura (Aur Elijah x FCF Titanias Vanity) learning to be a riding horse. He has the calm, sweet, willing temperament of all his dams foals. Titan has now had a few sessions under saddle including a little hacking. He's started trotting under saddle showing good balance and even tempo.
Thanks to Sara Giard and Sun is Up Farm for the great start!

FCF Titans SilverAura (Aur Elijah x FCF Titanias Vanity) is demonstrating the fabulous temperament and rideability so common in the horses we breed.
His older half-brother, FCF King ofthe Fairys, accompanied him on his first ride in tack today

I LOVE starting youngsters! Love it! Bring me all the babies!

Here is FCF Titan, a gorgeous 4 year old gelding, here to begin his riding horse adventures:) bred by Faerie Court Farm.

First he lunged, then lunged in tack, then he ponied all around wearing tack, now we go for walks out and about! I first sat on Titan ba****ck in a rope halter (shocked hissing!) which allows me to get down easily if needed, and doesn’t apply any pressure to his face/mouth as he doesn’t understand that kind of pressure yet. Today was his first ride in full tack and he was PERFECT! Foot perfect. Trusting, kind, thoughtful. He asked questions and accepted the answers I gave him. What more could you ask?!

I love the balance and strength carrying a rider through the woods and fields brings to young horses. Not to mention the confidence they get from navigating the changes in footing & whatever nature throws at them! It takes so much strength to carry a rider. Hacking is a wonderful way to build that strength!

Titan’s older brother, King lead the way and helped Titan feel safe with Violet Whitcomb aboard🥰 they were perfect partners!

I can’t wait to see what this guy tells us🥰

We are delighted to announce that both FCF Freyjas Joy and FCF Winged Valkyrie have checked in foal to the young endurance stallion, CF Aurtfully Bold for 2027.

CF Aurtfully Bold x FCF Winged Valkyrie =https://sporthorse-data.com/testmating-ex?sireid=13793955&horse_id=12632798

Since the mares are full sisters and they were bred to the same sire, the foals will be "full siblings in-blood".

(Two different ultrasound machines so the images look different.)

Huge appreciation to Mary O'Donovan of Meadowbrook Equine, Taylor Mahren of Balanced Rhythms, and Jessica Aws the owner of CF Aurtfully Bold for working so hard to get these mares bred and checked in foal!!!

We take pride in trying to make good matches for our horses. Most of the FCF horses fall in the "Steady Eddie" type and are pretty straightforward to train.
FCF CelestiAul Wizard is a more sensitive horse who requires more support to gain confidence in novel situations.
Last fall we sold him to Sara, a local trainer/instructor who already had several students with horses from FCF. Sara has been patient with Wizard -always avoiding pushing him past his emotional threshold so he trusts her deeply and is becoming a deeply bonded partner. This is the way.
