Today we did a pregnancy check on our fall mama cows. It is always a fun day because you get to look at every cow individually. It is also a fascinating time for me as a mom to watch our kids. Not only is our cattle herd changing, but also our kid herd! Ironically, it isn’t like some of the memes that circulate about working cows. Instead, it is a slow and steady wins the race kind of day! We chose to invest in working systems that handle our animals as humanely as possible as possible, and it’s value is seen in our human and four legged attitudes!
