Most days around here it’s pedal to the metal. Between the animals, the farm, the projects, the responsibilities, and the never-ending to-do list, life can feel like controlled chaos.

But this morning, with the rain moving in and the clouds hanging low over the fields, I slowed down for a few minutes and just breathed.

I watched the calves, the cows gathered around the feeder, the geese moving through the pasture, and my horse making his way across the field. For a moment, I stopped focusing on everything that still needed to be done and simply saw the farm for what it is.

These pictures capture my every morning—the beauty, the peace, the abundance, and the blessing of this life.

It’s not always easy. It’s often exhausting. But days like today remind me why I love it so much.
