Snake River Farmer's Market

Snake River Farmer's Market Organized by Surrogate Farm south of Twin Falls, the Filer Farmer's Market is the place to get your produce and crafts.

There will be different vendors with vegetables, fruits, berries, honey, cheese, eggs, and other farm products. There will also be vendors with crafts and self sufficiency products. Filer Farmer's Market also promotes learning and building traditional skills. Every Friday at 3:30pm come and participate in the topic of the week. Please visit to shop and talk with us on Friday evenings during the spring, summer and fall.

We are getting ready to set up next weekend at the Twin Falls Market located off North College Rd. Yes the CSI farm market 9am to 1pm. Find us set up between the Organic Meat booth and locally famous Hotdog stand. We will have lots of seeds and plants for your garden needs, maybe some early Kale and Lettuce. We will be taking specialty orders for grow outs, just this first weekend (still time to get planted in our 3/4 acre garden). In negotiations to host a Market again in Filer and you will see us at the Buhl Market on Wednesdays.

Thank you for all who have supported us. It is not working our for us at Filer so Surrogate Farm is moving to the Farmers Market at Crossroads Point on Saturday mornings. Hope to see you all there!

The spring garden in great condition.

This week the market will be moving to Saturday from 1 to 5pm, as it looks like the weather on Friday will be terrible. We are also considering adding this time slot on a regular basis. Please comment if you have an opinion on a two day a week market. We will have some new plants for sale and first of the season fresh spinach, collard greens, and radishes in addition to four types of lettuce.

On May 11th we openned our second week of the Market. Really I consider this our first, with good weather. The response was great, considering how new this Market is. 15 customers and 4 lookers in 3 hours. We are hoping the word will spread and looking forward to more produce to sell.
