🏠 Fillmore residents, help share what it really costs to rent in our community!

If you rent your home, take the Ventura County Rental Housing Survey. Your responses will help housing authorities provide HUD with current local rental data so rental assistance limits better reflect actual housing costs.

⏱️ The survey takes approximately 10 minutes.
🎁 Complete the survey to be entered to win one of five $100 gift cards!

Rental property owners and managers are also encouraged to complete the survey for their rental properties and share it with their tenants.

Triple-digit temperatures are expected this weekend. Stay cool! Swipe through the graphics and read the tips to protect yourself, neighbors, and loved ones.
💧 Drink water regularly.
❄️ Stay in air-conditioned spaces and limit outdoor activity during peak heat.
🤝 Check on older adults and people living alone.

Registration is still open for Fillmore Youth Basketball, but don’t wait! Registration fees increase from $120 to $130 on October 1. Sign up your young athlete today for a season filled with teamwork, skill-building, and fun!

We also need volunteer coaches, referees, and gym managers to help make this season a success. Saturday games will take place from December through February. Your time and involvement can make a lasting difference for Fillmore’s young athletes.

The City of Fillmore will receive $1 million in state funding to support Two Rivers Park following Governor Gavin Newsom’s signing of Assembly Bill 113 on September 18, 2026. The funding marks a significant investment in Fillmore’s flagship park and the residents, families, and local sports leagues who use it.
The City extends its sincere gratitude to Senate President pro Tempore Monique Limón for championing this investment through the state budget process. Her advocacy has helped bring state support to an important recreational resource for the Fillmore community.
Two Rivers Park brings families and neighbors together while giving young athletes a place to play, learn, and grow. The funding will support improvements to the park and help strengthen recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.
For Fillmore’s youth, quality places to play sports offer opportunities to build confidence, practice teamwork, and stay active. This investment will benefit the leagues, coaches, volunteers, and families who make local sports programs possible, while helping the park serve future generations.
