All gave some. Some gave all. Today we honor our fallen military service members. Please never take for granted all the freedoms we have in the USA. It comes at a huge price. The men pictured were WW2 vets. They survived the war but both were wounded multiple times. They were war hero’s, they were members of the “Greatest Generation “, they were my grandfathers.

Started making hay a few days ago. This is a short video of what the fields look like this year due to the drought. Hay is very short and thin even with fertilizer. This particular field is fairly small about 8-9 acres. In a good year I can have 25-30 round bales. This year I had 1-1/2. Lack of rain has put a hurting on the Virginia farmers this spring. If you are a person that has to buy hay for horses or cattle, good luck this year.
