I moved all of our extra bunnies into a large pen in our barn today. Normally we just feed pellets and a little hay but I'm going to slowly switch things up for these bunnies. I'm going to slowly transition to more fresh greens and hay and less pellets.

They are 8 weeks old and I just weighed them last Friday. They are all marked with colored dots in their ears so I can keep track of who is who.

At 12 weeks I'll weigh again and see how they do. I know what our previous weight gains were so I can compare.

Well Miss Opal did not lose enough weight and she got DQ'd and then Mr. Cuddles decided to gain weight and he got DQ'd. They did receive good comments though.

We will be breeding them to our smaller mini rex so hopefully we end up with some show bunnies.

Our mini rex extras go to freezer camp so I guess bigger is better! (Just not for showing)

Question for all of my rabbit owning followers. Why is it you can have the best looking, friendliest rabbits but when they turn 6 months old they turn into the devil???

We are prepping for our first show of the year with 4 of our mini rexes. I have been working with them daily for the last couple weeks to get them ready. Today's season was Horrible! No wanting to pose with their head down, no cooperating for nail trims, no wanting to be flipped and I even got a couple growls. Hopefully they get this out of their system by Sunday and go back to their happy selves!

The baby fainters are still looking for new pastures. They will be ready to leave in mid-June.

We have 4 does and 2 bucks that will be wethered at the end of this week if we have no interest in a buck.

100% fainters and we have seen them all faint.

My very exciting side kicks for the day. Either I wore them out or I'm boring!

Duck Eggs vs. Chicken Eggs πŸ₯šπŸ¦†πŸ“

Have you ever tried duck eggs? Here’s why so many people love them!

πŸ¦† Duck Eggs:
βœ” Larger eggs
βœ” Rich, creamy flavor
βœ” Great for baking
βœ” Higher in protein and nutrients
βœ” Thick shells = longer freshness

πŸ“ Chicken Eggs:
βœ” Mild flavor
βœ” Lower fat and cholesterol
βœ” Perfect for everyday cooking
βœ” More common recipe sizing

Many bakers swear by duck eggs for fluffier cakes, richer cookies, and amazing homemade pasta! 🍰πŸͺ

Both are nutritious and delicious β€” it really comes down to personal preference. Which do you prefer? Duck or chicken eggs? πŸ‘‡

*We have both available for purchase, contact us for details.

Miss Opal needs to lose a half a pound by next weekend for her first ARBA show. She has a different idea of what the exercise pen is for. πŸ˜‚
