I did it!

Lyle now has his fall haircut. It took a little while to get used to the big trimmers.

I have an entire box full of angora fiber to process now.

Isn't Marshmallow just the cutest! When she was younger I was really hoping for a Blue eyed White but she turned into a frosty. She may not be an approved color but she has the fullest fur coat and the tiniest little compact body.

Let's talk about duck eggs. Mason's new hens have started laying so this is just from two days! We can not eat this many so we are offering a deal for anyone that needs some.

Have I told you how much I hate mice???!

I had to change up my morning routine and have coffee at the table with my feet up. Earlier when I was enjoying my coffee on the couch I was joined by a mouse. 🤢

Now I have two mouse traps set and I'm waiting to hear a snap!

Uhhh!!!!

Any tips to keep mice out of the house? I know it's the season for them to start moving in doors. And no, a cat is not an option. Although, I have considered a house chicken. They have been more productive at catching mice on the farm than our previous cats.

Why do the prettiest bunnies have to be in non ARBA acceptable colors??? 🤦🏻

This doe is an 8 weeks old mini rex. She is a frosty because she has blue-gray eyes and little specks of colored hair on her hind end.

She is the most structurally correct bunny that I have ever gotten out of our rabbits. She may not be showable but she gets to stick around and hopefully pass down her good genes.

Today was rabbit show day.

Kenzie showed her America Blue meat pen and single fryer (which we knew wouldn't place because it wasn't a commercial breed). She placed 1st with Tara, her America Blue Jr. doe and 4th place with her mini rex doe and litter.

All she wanted was a ribbon, so she came away happy.
