After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to permanently close Café 1892.

We had an incredible first summer, and we will always be grateful for the support we received. Unfortunately, this season has been very different. Despite our best efforts, we simply haven’t had enough business to cover our bills, and we can no longer continue operating.

While we’re disappointed, we’re also thankful for everyone who stopped in, shared a meal with us, or supported our little café over the past two summers. You helped make this dream a reality, even if only for a while.

Sometimes small businesses succeed, and sometimes they don’t. We gave it everything we had and then some, but we are proud of what we built.

Thank you again for being part of our journey. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and wonderful summer.
