The safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and neighbors are our first priority, so we are releasing this statement to keep everyone informed:
Today, at approximately 3:47am a fire broke out at our TomaTek plant located in Firebaugh, CA. It occurred outside the production facility in a recycling area, away from plant operations and was successfully extinguished. No employees were harmed and there was no impact on our plant operations. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but it is under investigation and information is forthcoming.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our onsite employees for reporting the fire and following all emergency protocols. We also are indebted to the City of Firebaugh Fire Department along with the Madera and Fresno County Fire Departments for their quick response.
