Adams Angus Acres, a family owned and operated business, is located in Eastern Idaho ten miles north of Blackfoot along the beautiful Snake River.

Adams Angus Acres was born in 1973 when Chet and Phyllis bought a small ranch and purchased five registered Angus cows from the Leadore Angus Ranch. Over the years, more land was acquired and the herd increased to 125 head. Chet developed an eye for good cattle at a young age while accompanying his father feeding cattle with teams of horses and checking the cattle. From these early experiences, he learned about the hard work and dedication it takes to build a successful seed stock operation.

For 45 years Adams Angus Acres has been “Forging the Genetic Link” by being committed to providing superior seed stock for the commercial producer. Our philosophy of low birth weight with high growth are the type of cattle that are born small but yet exhibit rapid growth to weaning allowing the commercial producer to make a profitable return.
