Historical Traces Trek

Thursday, June 4, 2026, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Join Dave Lea, who has been exploring the park since the 1970’s, on an exciting, off-trail adventure finding the park’s historic sites. Wear sturdy boots and long pants to discover traces of the past.

This event will be held rain or shine.

Run with a Ranger

Friday, June 5, 2026, 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.

Weekly Run with a Ranger on various trails throughout the park. Come out, meet new people, and learn more about what makes Peninsula State Park a special place! Most routes are about 5k (3mi) in distance with cutoffs for shorter routes.
This event is weather-dependent.

When we first came down to set up for the season, we found this duck had made a home in one of our planters and was sitting on 9 eggs.

The planter was right by the door to the shirt shop, and as we started going back and forward with new clothing, she was obviously nervous.

The internet tells you not to move a nest, but we knew that as soon as we opened she’d be so disrupted by foot traffic she’d likely abandon the eggs.

So Jake dragged the planter 6 feet into the corner and we hoped she’d come back.

She watched him as he moved it, and then returned to the new spot! It probably helped we hadn’t touched her actual nest at all, just the planter it’s in.

We’ve roped off the area around her planter and we’re keeping one of the two shirt shop doors closed.

Fingers crossed there’ll be ducklings soon!

Precaliber 24" $250 (usually $439)

Single Ocean Kayak $450 (usually $799)

* E-bike Mileage is between 250 and 450 miles, depending on the bike. The regular price is $1899 for the bike and $500 for the extra battery. E-bikes are available for collection on the 27th, but you can reserve today with a 50% deposit (limited stock available).
