Fantastic meal last night at Serevan to celebrate twenty one years of being married to my best friend.

This unique restaurant offers Hudson Valley farm to table fare inspired and infused with Armenian Mediterranean flavors into a wonderful combination of fresh seasonal delicacies.
We started off with grilled eggplant and hummus along with a falafel platter that is head and shoulders above any I have had before. The falafel were light and airy and cooked to perfection. For our entrees, the light flaky rainbow trout and lamb chops were both spectacular.
I apologize for no dessert pics, but after the Armenian coffee that will make your espresso seems like watered down gas station swill, I was off and running and ate before the camera. Sorry, I know camera eats first! The in house baklava and Armenian coffe cake, we’re delicious!
While inarguably off the beaten path, tucked into the eastern edge of Hudson Valley, Chef Serge Madikians’ Serevan is a destination worthy spot not to be missed.
