Each morning at 4:45 a.m., Sam Gomes arrives at Silva’s Portuguese Bakery – located at 140 Main Street in Hudson – ready to load a truck with bread and pastries to deliver to restaurants in Leominster, mini-markets in Milford, the store’s second location in Lowell.

We know how sad you all are to see the beach close. So, we are offering Food Truck Fridays in September to curb your appetite for the end of summer sunshine. Join us from 4pm-7pm at Centennial Beach, grab some food from the trucks on site, play some lawn games, enjoy the beach and end summer the right way.
