If you know anything about KC, you probably know our founder, Pete Brown, started making our iconic lights from his garage.

Yep, this garage. This was the original house in Saugus, CA, where it all started back in the late 60’s. And decades later, the house is still there (last photo). 👀

Now, don’t you go looking for it and getting into any trouble. The current owner might not be so nice 😅.

Fast forward to 2026, and we’re still a small, family-owned business doing what we love.

From a garage in Saugus to trails around the world. 🌎💡

Thank YOU 🙏 for supporting KC all these years. We wouldn’t still be here without you. 🫶😎

We lost a good one.

Randy Merritt of Mongo Racing, passed away and left behind a legacy that anyone in the off-road world will recognize the moment they hear his name. Parker. Desert racing. A garage full of purpose and people who love it.

Randy was more than a KC supporter. He was a partner in the truest sense. It was in his garage that we mounted and tested the first Carbon POD HID. His feedback and the trust he placed in us helped shape one of the most important products in KC’s history. Randy’s fingerprint is all over KC.

People who show up, give honest feedback, push the limits alongside you, and do it all with loyalty and heart are rare. Randy was that person for us for decades.

To his family, his team at Mongo Racing, and everyone in the off-road community who loved him. We are with you and sending our thoughts and love.

Rest easy, Randy. You made us brighter.
