We found a bull snake trying to snack on a wild bird in the stables...

Our oldest daughter's reaction was to save the bird, while our other daughter ran an Olympic worthy 200 meter race back to the house. Fortunately, the bird lived another day and the snake was relocated to a high traffic mouse area.

Red Wattle Hogs are a threatened species and have a docile temperament. We've loved raising pigs, but we've found that we're just to busy to breed. We would definitely be a customer for future meat pigs.

We own a pigeon named chicken. The pigeon chose us we did not choose the pigeon.

However, 8 months ago we became the chosen Farmstead to house a flightless pigeon and we named it chicken because it can only fly as far and high as a chicken can.

Currently chicken has decided to live with our pigs... farming can be really weird sometimes.

On tonights episode we have an emu and a dog dancing, rams raming and Stu providing the background music.
.. and yes, Stu survived the making of this one minute video and got his dinner. Which is why he was yelling at everyone. Poor Stu baby.
