It’s the quiet moments no one else sees. The last feed trough filled.
The last water tank checked.
The last stall bedded.
One final walk through the barn to make sure everyone is content before turning off the lights.

It’s a responsibility that never clocks out, but somehow it never feels like a burden. There’s a peace that comes from knowing every animal in your care has everything they need because of your hands.
