We're entering that wonderful season for our hunters! We have an array of offerings including fresh deer apples and deer corn available in both sacks and bins.

In addition, we’ve swapped out the slushee machines for our delicious hot spiced apple cider.

Right now, our stock features a delightful selection of donuts, hand pies, dried apple chips, honey, jams, and jellies. We also have handmade greeting cards and cider available in both half-gallon and gallon sizes, along with a variety of apples. Come by and treat yourself!

We have reached one of the most popular weekends of the year. Labor Day weekend featuring the apple festival. While we will not be at the festival itself, our stand is open normal business hours as well as Labor Day. With that said, we have many apple varieties in, dried apple chip, donuts, hand pies, cider, jams/jellies/butters, and our slushee machines are back running. If you are up at the festival, stop by Willow Hill Soap Company, as they have our business featured in their window this year with some fun Apple facts, family history, etc.

Meet the Employees:
Khoen, Ryan & Cadie

Khoen is Larry’s nephew and a recent graduate from East Henderson—he even finished a year early! With a passion for farming, he’s eager to follow in his uncle's footsteps. Khoen steps in wherever needed, and right now, he’s in charge of running our stand. He keeps everything stocked and ensures the operation runs smoothly.

Then there's Ryan, Larry’s son, who also shares his father’s love for farming. While he usually spends his days in the fields harvesting, this year he’s balancing his time between that and helping out at the stand as well, so he’s got his hands full. If you have questions about anything on the farm, he’s definitely got the answer for you.

Cadie, Larry’s daughter, grew up working at the stand and has been at it since she could walk and talk. Though she made a career change in January and has a full-time job in healthcare, her heart remains with the farm. After work, she’s always here to help with stocking, managing the jams, jellies, and ciders, and keeping everything running smoothly for the guys.

The man behind the farm, that you don’t often see. In case you don’t already know him, Larry is the owner of Henderson Farms. Farming has been his livelihood, and he takes great pride in providing the best produce and apples. He is up long before the sun comes up, and often times going to bed late to ensure his crop is receiving the attention it needs.

His wife, Vicki is the one who makes all the yummy goodies, apple chips & greeting cards when the season comes along.
