If y’all have not been to Barnwell’s Apple House on Chimney Rock Rd, you’re missing out!

They have the best prices on produce we’ve seen around here.

Now we’ve got our fall decor and pumpkins for pie! We figured we’d have too many options for y’all the last two weekends 😁

So pumpkin spice and pumpkin pie will definitely be on the menu, along with some other fun things. 🎃 🥧

It’s a beautiful day in Western North Carolina!

We got back late last night, cut out a bunch of basil and picked all of our ripe peppers at 1AM 🤣

And I just knew one of our mushroom spots would be popping off!

Last night, we went to Jim Henson’s Labyrinth 40th Anniversary: In Concert here in Utah. We are sooo glad we went! What a fun and unique experience. The musical tracks have been removed and the band plays ALL of the music along with the movie!

This is a touring performance with upcoming shows in TN, SC, GA, & FL. We know we’ve got a lot of NC followers but also quite a bit from the SE in general, from vacations and day trips.

Good morning y’all! Friendly reminder, we won’t be open this weekend!

But while you’re here…

We can only fit so much of one post, but here’s some highlights since we last posted about this trip to Utah!

We went to check out the hike to Mill Creek Waterfall and were surprised to find a these pretty cascades prior. What a gorgeous “hike” towards the waterfall that we didn’t make it too because we were NOT prepared to get our feet wet on the full hike 🤣

A wall of petroglyphs off of Potash!

Real cowboys and cowgirls rounding up cattle from the mountains!

Bighorn sheep spotted alongside the Colorado river!

Jackass Joe’s - a must stop, completely bizarre and unique and ridiculously priced 🤣

We went to BYU Museum of Paleontology and got to see the Moabasaurus! And learned a lot about other dinos too 🦕

Oh yeah - Love Muffin Cafe in Moab - first, their breakfast was delicious. But the star was the New Mexico Apple Pie muffin with Hatch chiles! Y’all, it was so good. Not pretty to look at, but wow 🔥

And we stumbled upon Bridal Falls on the way up to Park City, so pretty!!!

Hey y’all! Hope you made it through all that rain safely!

We’ve had quite a bit of rain in Utah but it has been beautiful and other-worldly.

Here are some highlights from the last 24 hours!

• Takeout dinner from Antica Forma - wood-fired pizza, Girella, & Ricola Con Barbabietole Insalata

• Breakfast burritos and baked goods from Sweet Cravings Bakery & Bistro

• A fantastic presentation from Ranger Andy at the utahraptorstatepark for the National Fossil Week Dinosaur Exhibits Tour. And Meagan became a Jr Ranger 🎉

• Petting Zoo and perusing and shopping at the Hole In the Rock. Bucky the Alpaca was the sweetest resident there, so very polite.

• Needles Overlook at Canyonlands National Park

• Snacks and adult beverages from theblupig - shoutout to Gucci for being a wonderful server!Unfortunately we missed out on getting pics of the “pork wings” but they were just amazing, definitely something we will recreate when we get home!

Amazing views everywhere. Plenty of critter sightings. Looking forward to more of Utah!
