Edit: Sold! We will have another going in before the end of the year.

We have a 1/4 of a delicious Dexter beef available!
The cow will be going to the processor next Tuesday 5/26. The locker will call you to see how you want it cut and packaged, then will be ready for pickup in about two weeks. We use Sugar Rock Farms in Westport, Indiana.
You pay us for the 1/4 of the cow (it's a smaller cow) approximately $400 after we drop off at the processor and the processor for their work when you pick up, guestimate $125ish.
So, about $525 total for the 1/4.

We are preparing for our annual plant sale! It's a little behind this year due to this cooler weather that we've been experiencing.

We currently have Tomatoes - Beefsteak, Roma, Early Girl and Yellow

Peppers- Green bell, Sweet Banana, Hot Banana and Jalapeno

We will have Yellow squash, Zucchini and Cucumber plants ready in the upcoming couple of weeks

Of the fives calves born this season, four have been bulls. We might have to thin the herd in a couple months.

We just added 100 new pullets to the barn! We should have good egg availability in a month or two!
We had a fox wipe out over 50 of our layers last fall so eggs have been scarce around here for the last few months.
