Marked Tree kicks off Cider Wine and Dine weekend, Friday May 1st, with our Spring Chef dinner, featuring Chef Taylor Montgomery from Montgomery Sky Farm. He is a finalist for the 2026 Best Chef, Southeast, James Beard Foundation Awards. Dinner will also be in collaboration with local cheese mongers from the WNC cheese Trail. Wow February was Busy!!!! We had new wine and food experiences. Hosted performances for the Winter Ramble Bluegrass Festival, Grammy award winner Trey Hensley Sold out! Chef Andre created a delicious Valentines dinner each course paired with Marked Tree’s award winning Wines! Yes, award winning. We brought home GOLD from San Francisco Chronicle wine competition for our Cab Franc and Reserve Chardonel. Marked Tree was also awarded Grape Grower of the year for the State of NC. Look out! Spring is on its way!

We’re so excited about 2025 GRAMMY award winner, guitar virtuoso and singer/songwriter Trey Hensley is the reigning 2-time IBMA Guitar Player of the Year (2025, 2023) called
“Nashville’s hottest young player” by Acoustic Guitar magazine and a “guitar-slinging superhero” by Bluegrass Today. An Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival invitee, Hensley has collaborated with the likes of Vince Gill, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Taj Mahal, and Tommy Emmanuel, and is set to release his highly anticipated solo album, Can’t Outrun The Blues, on March 6, 2026.
