Another great goat show at the Washington County Fair in Marietta, OH! 🐐🏆

We were fortunate to sell a few goats into Washington County again this year, and we couldn’t be more proud of how they turned out!

🔥 Gavin Hiener — 3rd in the Heavyweight Class

🔥 Addy Seaman — 4th in the Heavyweight Class

That was one tough class, with the boys finishing behind the Reserve Champion and 3rd Overall Market Goat! We’re incredibly proud of how competitive these goats were, but even more proud of the work Gavin and Addy put in to get them there.

A huge THANK YOU to both families for believing in our program and doing such a great job getting these boys fed, fitted, and ready to show. We can raise them, but it takes dedicated families and exhibitors to get them to the backdrop!

And the success didn’t stop in the market classes…

🏆 Addy — Premier Exhibitor

🏆 Gavin — 2nd Overall Senior Showmanship

Those accomplishments speak volumes about the work these two put in beyond just having a good goat on the end of the lead.

Congratulations, Addy, Gavin, and families! We’re super proud to have you representing Wise Show Stock! 💚🐐

🥈💚 RESERVE CHAMPION STEER 💚🥈
Washington County Fair | Marietta, Ohio

Cool Kids Club x Felicity (IGWT x Simmy)

Old Woofie got it done! 🏆

That little fluffy gold roan calf turned into a Reserve Champion — but it definitely wasn’t without a few challenges along the way. 😂 Old Woofie had a habit of thinking backwards was the preferred direction of travel… sometimes even all the way up to ringside!

But Alyssa never gave up on him. She worked her butt off all summer, put in the time, stayed patient, and last weekend, all that hard work paid off in a BIG way.

We want to give a huge congratulations to A2 and the entire Biehl/Moore family! And to make the weekend even sweeter, Alyssa’s sister, Alayna, exhibited the Grand Champion Steer! 🏆

For one family to take home both Grand AND Reserve Champion Steer is something pretty special. It’s a true reflection of the time, work, dedication, and heart this family puts into their livestock projects.

We couldn’t be more excited for you all. Thank you for believing in our program and supporting Wise Show Stock. We’re proud to have played a small part in such a memorable weekend! 💚

Congratulations, Alyssa, Alayna, and the entire Biehl/Moore crew! 👏🏼

🏆 2026 Champion Shorthorn Plus — Portage County Randolph Fair! 🏆

Another successful year for the Duma family!

A huge congratulations to David Paul Duma on another great accomplishment. This family works their tails off, and the results over the last two years speak for themselves. Hard work, dedication, and a whole lot of time in the barn continue to pay off!

David Paul knows exactly what he likes, and he has really taken a liking to the Shorthorn breed — and at Wise Show Stock, we’re certainly thankful for that! ❤️🐮

It’s been awesome watching him grow, learn, and continue to find success in the show ring. Congratulations to the entire Duma family on another great year. We’re proud to have played a small part in your success and can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

Keep working hard, David Paul — it’s showing! 🏆

Selling livestock into the same county where you and your family showed for 25 years is always exciting — and a little bittersweet.

You want so badly for every animal you sell to succeed. It’s a reflection of the years spent in 4-H learning how to select, raise, care for, and prepare livestock to the very best of your ability.

At Wise Show Stock, we have been incredibly blessed to work with some amazing families, and we can’t thank them enough for putting their confidence in our program.

🏆 2026 GRAND CHAMPION MARKET GOAT 🏆
Portage County Randolph Fair

When the Legros family came to our place last year with our good friends, the Wadsworths, to look at goats, I knew after that first visit they were destined for great things.

Here was a family that had never shown a market project before, but they took every piece of advice they were given and ran with it full steam. And those little girls, they poured their hearts into their animals from day one. 💚🐐

This has truly been a family affair, and at this point, it’s hard to tell who loves the goats more!

Congratulations to the entire Legros family on an incredible year and for getting this one all the way to the finish line. You earned it!

A special thank you to Taylor and the entire Wadsworth family for being our fellow “goat jocks” and helping the Legros family get these projects to 100%.

Keep up the intensity, keep working hard, and most importantly, keep loving what you do, girls. This is what 4-H and showing livestock are all about. 💚🏆🐐
