Rabbit processing days.

Today is almost the end of our 3rd month of retirement and we couldn't be more pleased with how it is working out here on the homestead.

Andrea Farnsworth and I start our day here on the homestead at 7am. We sit in the morning room having coffee and our daily bible verses. We are outside between 8 and 8:30 tending to the animals and whatever projects we've planned the night before. We have brunch and our pool workouts and usually are finished in time to catch the news at noon.

Our evening chores start between 6:30 and 7pm. Feeding and milking is all that takes place. We are done and back inside by 8.

We spend the afternoon doing any house work, shopping, running around or binging something on tv.

I wished I could have done this earlier in life.

With a heavy heart and many tears over the last few days, this big guy Bear crossed the rainbow bridge on Sunday.
It was sudden and realy unexpected. He had just been seen for some breathing and heart issues.
The story behind the picture is a funny one. Andrea Farnsworth and I left that day in my truck to pick her car up from the dealer. I came back in her car. Bear insisted that she was in there. He sat like that for 30 minutes and would not move until she came home in my truck. Even then he climbed in her car and checked it out again .
It didn't make doggy sense to him.

You touched our hearts and you will be missed.
