In addition to our home grown, grass fed, Kentucky Proud beef today we have fresh green beans at the Mason County Farmers Market.

The Original Mason County Farmers Market is OPEN today until 1pm! Baked goods, Crafts, Eggs, Beef, Vegetables, Cut Flowers, Pickles, Jams all produced locally by the vendors and Kentucky Proud.

Hi! Remember me? I am called P 51 and I was introduced to you when I was born on Labor Day. During my first month I have gotten pretty good at running around the field with my other newly born half brothers and sisters. I have learned what my mom sounds like and always go to her when she calls because I get another meal of her milk containing the lactose and butterfat I need for energy along with whey for muscle building protein. I am noticing that it seems like the daytime is getting shorter and the nighttime longer. Also the mornings can be a little chilly so my mother lets me sleep right next to her to stay warm. I think I have come a long way in the last month and I am really happy glad I live here at Masters Acres. Charlie and Rose Ann come by every day to check on all of us. When a new herd mate is born they always check on them and give them a fancy blue (for males) or white (for the females) ear rings (I have learned they are actually called ear tags) except each one has their own number. I will check in again when something cool happens so until then, “Moo!” (Cow for talk to y’all later).

More rain means more grass for the cows but tomorrow’s (Saturday) Farmers Market forecast is sunny in the 60s! Come out and see Rose Ann at the Fleming County Farmers Market 8am until noon, Fleming County Cooperative Extension- Agriculture and Natural Resources parking lot and shop our selection of Kentucky Proud steaks, roasts and specialty cuts along with tomatoes. Charlie will be at Tractor Supply for the Original Mason County Farmers Market 9am - 1pm. No tomatoes, just our flavorful, home grown, grass fed beef! Come shop your local farmers markets.

Apparently Fall has fell upon us and Saturday’s Farmers Market forecast looks terrific! Our freezers are full of homegrown, grass fed beef for the Original Mason County Farmers Market 9am - 1pm, Tractor Supply Co parking lot in Maysville and additionally we will have fresh tomatoes and green beans for the Fleming County Farmers Market in the Fleming County Cooperative Extension- Agriculture and Natural Resources parking lot, 1384 Elizaville Road, Flemingsburg, 8am until noon. All our products are Kentucky Proud!
