Our organic eggplant seedlings need to spend a month under this floating row cover (lets light & water through, keeps bugs out) to give them a chance against those little pesky flea beetles.  But when we take it off in late June, they’ll be off to the races for another year of delicious organic eggplant! ❤️❤️

TOMATO POSTS!!! The early-planted tomatoes are starting to take off, so we put in some tomato posts today to support the soon-to-be-7-foot vines! …It’s a tough job with so many tomato plants (500!), but hey, free gym membership!! — and tomatoes to boot! ❤️❤️

TOMATO PLANTIN’ IN THE SUN!! It was a hot one, but we got 142 tomato plants in the ground. This is our second planting (out of 4 total) for the year, each spaced a month apart. 30 different varieties!!! — coming to the farm stand as actual tomatoes by early-mid July & then available all the way to Halloween! ❤️❤️
