Neshanic Station Apiaries We are a boutique honeybee company that produces local, raw honey, soaps, lotions & other hive inspired specialty products.

Certified by the State of NJ to breed & sell honeybees, we offer beeswax candlemaking classes and apiary tours. Welcome to Neshanic Station Apiaries. We recently relocated from Neshanic Station to a farm property just 5 miles away in Flemington, NJ. We maintain bee yards throughout Somerset and Hunterdon counties. We are proud to play a role in vibrant farming community here, which has centuries o

ld roots. We believe food should be fresh and local. Our honey is 100% raw, which means it is not filtered or heated, and you receive the full nutritional benefits. Nectar from more than a million flowers goes into each pound. We also craft small-batch artisan beeswax candles, hot-process honey soaps, natural skincare products and household items with our honey and wax, all of it inspired by our bees. We get questions all the time from people who have heard that local honey can help them with their seasonal allergies.🐝

The idea is that raw, or unheated, local honey contains local pollen. And if you take a bit each day, it will help your body build an immunity to the pollen that torments you each spring and summer.🐝

You begin taking the honey when the first pollen begins flying. Here in Central NJ, that’s now…when the skunk cabbage begins blooming.🐝

You want to take just a little honey, daily. About a measuring teaspoon.🐝

Breathe in all the goodness of the hive with our Apitherapy Shower Steamers.

We’ve packaged a centuries-old tradition from Eastern Europe in our beautiful little steamers. Breathing air from inside is so good for you, special sheds were built so people could lie on top of enclosed beehives. The hives allowed bees to travel to and from their homes, so they could collect nectar and pollen, and also allowed humans to breathe in the sweet aroma and relax to the hypnotic hum.

Our shower steamers are filled with a collection of pure essential oils, along with honey and propolis from our own hives. Place one on the floor of your shower, just out of the stream of the water, and enjoy the delicious, soothing aromas.

Merry Christmas from all of us here !

Our Christmas Queen is laying eggs in our observation hive in the Honey House. She started last week, but the bees have been plucking out the young larvae and throwing them to the floor of the hive. They know spring is a ways off. She’s won’t listen to reason, it seems.
