Well... I can officially confirm our ADT fire system works. 😂

While prepping some beef ribs with Lone Star Smoke and Sweet Amber Fire, I had a little grease flare-up on the smoker. Nothing major, but it made a LOT more smoke than I expected. I opened the patio door so I could shut the smoker lid, and apparently invited all that smoke straight into the living room.

Next thing I know... 🚨 ADT alarm.

I didn't get the code entered fast enough, so two fire trucks came rolling into the neighborhood.

The good news? No damage, no real fire, and the neighborhood kids got to climb around on the fire truck before the firefighters headed out.

Not exactly the kind of smoke I was going for today... but at least everyone got a good story out of it. 🔥🚒

Bush's Beans really woke up one morning and said, “You know what baked beans need? Dessert, pickles, and childhood trauma.” 😂

I’ll be honest… the apple pie one? I can at least see the vision. Sweet baked beans already exist, so maybe with some cinnamon and brown sugar it could work.

And the dill pickle flavor? Look, pickle people will put pickle seasoning on literally anything short of toothpaste, so somebody out there is gonna love it.

But the Rocket Pop baked beans?

Absolutely not. That sounds like something you lose a bet and have to eat at a Fourth of July cookout while your cousins record it for TikTok. 🇺🇸🫘
