NC State Fair show is over, and the girls are back home in the pasture. Rose placed 4th in her class and Pearl placed 2nd in her class. They all did good today. Maddie showed pearl and Jayde showed Rose. Proud of them all. Thanks for Chris and Heather for allowing Maddie to show with us this year. We have had a blast this year at the show. It was a long and tiresome weekend as well. Here’s a photo dump of our trip of “Country Come to Town!” 🤣😭🤣

Ive always heard them say “You need to lay aside some money.”

Well, here’s my money, laying on its side.

Being a show cow is a rough life.

We made it safely, and the cows are ready to get this party started! We are all set up and ready for the show!

Well, that’s a wrap for the NC Mountain State fair show. Jayde and Maddie showed on Saturday for showmanship, but didn’t place. On Sunday, Jayde showed Rose and came in 2nd in her class. Maddie showed Pearl and came in 2nd in her class as well. The next show we have will be the NC State Fair in Raleigh in October.

Kicking off the NC Mountain State Fair well. Today the WNC Beef Cattle Commission recognized Jayde, as the recipient of the 2026 Gary Stamey Junior Beef Scholarship.
We are very proud of Jayde and all of her accomplishments. We can’t wait to see what this weekend holds for us.
