🫐 This will be the last weekend for blueberry picking at Wandering Roots! 🫐
Just like that, our blueberry season is coming to an end! This weekend will be our last weekend open for picking.
The picking is tough now, but there are still berries out there if you just need one more taste of summer. And for those of you that have already filled your freezer, you can still feel free to stop by for a snowcone or slushie! 🍧
Thank you SO much to everyone who came out and supported us this season. Blueberry season is always way too quick, and we appreciate every single one of you. 💙
We’ll still be at the Jeffersonville Farmers Market slinging snowcones and serving up slushies for a few more weeks and we hope to see you there supporting local farms and enjoying our community!

If you've been waiting for the perfect time to stock your freezer with fresh blueberries, now is the time!
The picking is easy, the berries are plentiful, and they're ready to be picked.

We're open today from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, so stop by and fill a bucket (or two!). Last night I filled a bucket (3lbs) in 10 minutes!

Here's where you can find us over the next several days:

Saturday: The farm will be open 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Hope will be slinging snowcones at the Johnson Blueberry Festival—be sure to stop by and say hello!

Sunday: Open 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Monday: Open 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Muffin Monday with Téa's famous muffins free while they last.

Tuesday: Open 8:00 AM–7:00 PM for an evening of picking.
Wednesday: Find us at the Jeffersonville Farmers Market from 4:00–7:00 PM serving up snowcones and slushies!

We hope to see you soon—whether you're filling your freezer, enjoying a fresh-picked snack, or cooling off with a snowcone!

This has been a very exciting Spring for us and we are excited to share that Wandering Roots has purchased the former La Joie Stables on Pollander Road!

As we begin bringing animals back to the land and work toward the return of trail riding, we invite our community to enjoy this special place. If you're interested in enjoying the trails, or if you have an event that could benefit from the shelter of the riding arena, we'd love to hear from you.

Our hope is that this property once again becomes a place where neighbors, friends, and visitors can gather, explore, and experience the peacefulness that Vermont has to offer. We look forward to pouring our hearts into this land, caring for it, and watching it once again become a welcoming place for our community to gather, connect, and make memories.

In the meantime, you can still find us in the blueberry field on Rushford Road! We look forward to seeing you there while we begin this exciting new chapter.

We're keeping our berries affordable again this season at just $3 per pound for Pick-Your-Own.

We will be slinging snow cones for you to enjoy during the festivities! 🍧
Opening Day at Wandering Roots is July 10 and we can't wait to welcome you back for another season.
We know prices seem to be going up everywhere, but Not Here. Not this year! While we may need to adjust prices next season, we're keeping our Pick-Your-Own berries at just $3/lb for the 2026 season.
