Our Wine Flights

Our Wine Flights We help people discover destinations with wineries. We search for unique wine locations and then video, blog, and write about their wines.

Mission: Be known as a Positive Force promoting the Wine, Craft Beer and Distillery Industries. Objective: Showcase worldwide destinations for wine, craft beer and spirits & celebrate the entrepreneurial and
creative spirit within the beverage industry. About Us: Our Marketing & Event Management company offers comprehensive services. We help Craft Breweries, Distilleries & Wineries grow their b

usiness by sharing their stories & passion using
traditional and social media. We help people discover destinations to enjoy wine, craft beer & spirits. Background: After successful careers in the financial & insurance industry, we took the opportunity to follow our passion. We incorporated our love of travel, fine wine, craft beer, and other favorite beverages to do what comes natural for us: sharing our destinations with their stories. We believe by sharing these stories, people will further appreciate the passion that is poured into their glasses. We bring a wide array of business skills leveraging our management backgrounds in Marketing, Technology, Training, Risk and Compliance. These skills were honed via our experience gained from working in government, nonprofits, Fortune Top 20 corporations, and entrepreneurial startups. Most importantly, we honor our commitments and know the importance of adhering to budgets. Since moving to Winston-Salem in 1996, we have seen the rebirth of the city of Winston-Salem and of the North Carolina Wine Industry. Over the past 20 years, we have visited hundreds of vineyards and wineries across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and South America. Each year, we now have the benefit of visiting well over a hundred destinations - wineries, craft breweries and distilleries throughout the USA, Canada, and Europe. We regularly travel the East Coast - from NC to Canada, visiting with winemakers & brewers in large cities and small towns in between. Our overseas travel takes us to well known regions in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Spain, as well as the less travelled destinations like Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, and Montenegro. In 2016, we shifted our focus to help launch a start-up organization to promote the quality of North Carolina fine wines. Event Organization & Non-Profit Experience
CLINNEAM LLC helped establish, and provides day to day management and marketing services for the NC Fine Wines Society, including all encompassing responsibility for the ex*****on of the North Carolina Fine Wines Competition and associated events. Successfully organized and professionally managed events for business organizations and non-profits since 1994, including NAIC National Committee meetings, and Educational and Support Curriculum. In 1997, wanting to create an outreach and fundraising event, we created the SECCA Backyard Blues Festival and later served as Board Members (President and Secretary) for the Foothills Chamber Music Festival which held events across The Triad Area. We are strong community supporters, and Dan is currently on the Board
at Sawtooth School for Visual Arts (VP Marketing & Development). We recently both served four years on The West End Homeowner Association as Board Members, with Cathy elected for two years as Treasurer.

SAQ did not disappoint us on their choice of a local red wine. We are drinking the from .. (Vignoble Souffle de Vie) in Montréal -

Yes it is grown on the Island of Montréal, and it is a great example of how sometimes things do well in places you wouldn't think they would!

Great job! Say Oui to this local product.

Carolina Heritage Vineyard and Winery - Pulled a Cynthiana from 2013 from our cellar. Looking for something that we shpuld open. And maybe a little too late.

However, it was a surprise that was unexpected. It was really pretty nice. It was a lighter color than I remember when Pat & Clyde first served us some back around that 2013 or 2014. The colour's is really pretty translucent purple, but with a crystal clear sparkle. A time of caramel color on the edges, and the typical aromas of a Cynthiana. A shorter finish than more recent ones we've had, but solid just the same.

You never know how these experiences are going to come out. But in this bottle, it was a testimony to their hard work creating a vineyard and being early adopters of "Certified Organic".

Toasting to you and the memories of your hospitality!

And wishing the new owners all the best!

A great from . A great buy from that was fantastic with grilled Tuna and red peppers, steamed carrots, quinoa with celery, ginger, carrots, and lemons.

We bought a case last year, and have been keeping it cellared and have been sharing it among our friends - those who like and appreciate wines, but are also not wine Sommeliers. They usually spend $15-40 dollars on a bottle of wine, and sometimes will go higher; more when at a restaurant. We also chose some that didn't have Costco brand names - just so they didn't think the wines were cheap. And it builds trust with the Costco selections.

Now you know we like fine wines. The response to this wine has been consistently very good at these supper club events. We wanted to show people that there are very good wines that are available and show very well with all types of foods.

We also wanted to see for ourselves if this test would work well over a 8 month period. Results? No corkage problems, and first tasted as good as the last. This isn't a wine I would age, just because of the cost/value it is a very easy on the pocket to just open another one.

First off - there was no perceptible difference in taste after a full year of being laid down in our basement cellar our of sunlight. Temperatures range from winter at 50 to summertime in the low 70s. The bottles are laid on their sides, and haven't been through any rapid highs or lows. The warmest recorded in summer was a 72 degree high.

This white wine was very food friendly. It has medium high acidity, and neither too dry or sweet on the palate. Burger night it was great, even with red jalapenos. We recently had it at home with Pasta Primavera and additions of Fennel and Apple salads. Just delicious, no matter the price.

Works great to cleanse your palate, especially at a party with multiple types of foods. Tasted great across all the different foods brought or bought by the attendees.

Buy a case if you can find it!

We purchased 6 bottles were at Costco for $7.99. A wonderful example of wine that has balance and quality.
