She's got a few finishing touches left to go, but 2021 when we moved here, the Barnwood Builders episode in 2022, and now 3.5 years later in 2026.... 😍

The cure for everything is salt.... sweat, tears, or the sea.

The Korbs chose sweat. 92 bales loaded this evening. Even Harvey had a cough and a bit of a fever, but wanted to help throw a few. 💚

We are making a very difficult decision. Sometimes you have to take a step back though to move forward. It has not stopped raining. We are not set up and the other issues around the farm from the rain are just too much. With the new construction going on here also, we have made the decision to close our On Farm Glamping for 2025. (Pic from last year, tents are not up.)

Next question... will we be open for 2026? I honestly don’t know. This break does give us a chance to walk away from social media for a while and we are going to seize it. We’re not gone, just taking a much needed break. ❤️

Final thoughts... this is not entirely our decision alone. For 3 years (and almost 300 rentals) we have shared our little slice of heaven with people near and far. We have had our rental guests and in between have opened the pond and hiking to any organization (mostly kids) that asked for free. Everyone has enjoyed walks, sunsets, and some fishing. Most people are happy to just sit at their site and relax or read or cook on the grill. Governments and insurance companies that claim our economy in this area is going to rebound on “tourism” as our economic base, sure aren’t helping this situation one bit. So there’s that.... maybe I’ll elaborate more in the future. Please remember to get outdoors, get some sunshine, and support your local farmers! Thanks, and take care. 🍁

We sold the greenhouse this weekend to the coolest people! Yup.... another fire dept fam, but they are going to be using it for a tunnel for their haunted house this fall! Go check them out in Loudoun!

Milltown Haunt Crew at the 2025 East Coast Haunters Convention!

We’re having an amazing time networking, learning, and connecting with fellow haunters at the 2025 East Coast Haunters Convention! From new scare techniques to the latest in haunt innovation, we’re soaking it all in and getting inspired for our 2025 season.

Huge thanks to all the amazing vendors, speakers, and fellow attendees — the energy here is incredible! 🖤 We can't wait to bring some new tricks (and treats) back home to Loudoun County. Stay tuned... things are about to get even more terrifying at Milltown Haunt!

We are holding off still on opening the tents unfortunately. The weather is not looking good for Glamping yet. 😢
