Tomorrow is Cami Day! ❤️

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 30th from 4:00–8:00 PM at the DeFuniak Springs Amphitheater, our community is coming together for a night of music, food, community, and hope to support Cami in her battle against stage 4 cancer. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Cami and her family.

Steele Cattle Co. will be selling all of our remaining tickets for our premium Black Angus half steer at the event tomorrow.

We will also be drawing the winner tomorrow!

A huge thank you to everyone who has already purchased tickets — we sold way more than we anticipated and had to reorder additional tickets because of the incredible support! Every ticket sold is helping lift up Cami and her family during this fight.

U.S. CATTLE REPORT 📦🥩 U.S. Beef Imports Projected to Top 6 Billion Pounds for First Time in History — Up 166% Since 2010 📈

Today’s USDA WASDE report projected 2026 U.S. beef imports at 6.109 billion pounds, the highest level in history and the first time beef imports have ever exceeded 6 billion pounds. The projection would mark an increase of 638 million pounds, or 11.7%, from 2025 levels and continue a trend that has seen beef imports increase every year since 2017.

Since 2010, U.S. beef imports have climbed from 2.297 billion pounds to more than 6.1 billion pounds, an increase of roughly 3.8 billion pounds, or nearly 166%. The sharp rise in imports has coincided with declining U.S. cattle inventories and historically tight domestic beef supplies.

Our dear friend Cami Dewees Morgan was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic cancer. She is facing this battle with incredible strength, faith, and determination.
