Dear God,
On this Memorial Day, we pause with grateful hearts to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this nation. Thank You for the courage they carried, the sacrifices they made, and the freedoms we enjoy because of their willingness to stand in the gap.
Lord, comfort every family carrying the weight of loss today. Wrap Your peace around spouses, children, parents, siblings, and friends who still feel the ache of an empty seat. Be near to every wounded warrior, every veteran, and every heart that has served.
Father, remind us that true love lays down its life for others. Thank You for the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who gave His life so we could have eternal freedom and hope.
Bless this nation with wisdom, unity, humility, and healing. Turn hearts back to You. Let us never take freedom for granted, but use it to love, serve, and honor others.
May today be more than a holiday. May it be a holy moment of remembrance, gratitude, and prayer.
