Spudberry Farms We are a Christmas tree farm located in Florence, Wisconsin. We have a lot of dreams ahead of us, but we are very much a small, rustic operation at this time.

Spudberry Farms is a new family farm endeavor that has bought an existing wholesale Christmas tree lot with the desire of converting it to a community-focused choose and cut lot. With hard work and vision, we are excited to see what can happen at Spudberry Farms. We would like to invite you on this journey. Follow us on Facebook and watch as we continually work to improve the farm. Although we may be small, we are still opening up our trees to the public this season! Our choose and cut lot is opening the Saturday after Thanksgiving; we hope to see you there!

Got a fun little project this past weekend that was much needed! We weeded our sign flower garden, added landscaping fabric, mulch, and a few new pollinator plants! 🦋 It was exciting to see our first blueberry of the farm - we planted some lowbush blueberry plants this spring that we were testing for the acre patch we are planting this fall. It was delicious! 😋 One of the two new honeybee hives is doing fantastic. I am now anticipating that we will have a small quantity available this season for purchase! 🍯

We had the awesome opportunity to attend the Wisconsin Christmas Tree Farmers Convention again this year, but this time, we took the whole family. Our kids got to enjoy the field trips included in the convention for part of the day and then learn more about caring for christmas trees the other part of the day. I think we have a new yearly tradition!

We can't wait to apply what we learned to our own farm here at Spudberry.

It was getting late, but I managed to make it out to Spudberry Farms to get this future The White House Christmas Tree planted. Stay tuned for the Really Big blog interview with Ben. This guy knows a winning Christmas tree!

Yesterday, I picked up my dad from the airport and began a special trip down to West Texas where he grew up. We are going to haul my late grandfather's old tractor back up to the tree farm! I will post some stories along the way!
